An inn built on the road followed by caravans crossing the Balkans, was converted after 100 years into a traditional guest house by its current owners, guided by the spirit of hospitality that pre-existed in the area.
The guest lives an experience of real culinary pleasure during breakfast at Viglatora. A point of reference is the variety of handmade pies and cakes, homemade jams and sweets from ingredients grown on the family estates.
The well-kept garden with flowers in full bloom, green in spring and summer, golden yellow in autumn and blinding white in winter, is an ideal tranquil retreat for every season.
The mansion built in a settlement of particular architectural interest, with characteristics of Macedonian Architecture, at the foot of Mount Kerkini (Beles), Viglatoras nestles in the heart of the village below the central square overlooking Lake Kerkini and the Porroia valley. Harmoniously combining authentic materials and furniture with modern comforts, it creates a unique sense of hospitality for the visitor.
